An Inconvenient Tumor - The Book!

After many requests, we have adapted AnInconvenientTumor.com into a book version. The response to this blog continues to overwhelm Bryan and me, as many of you have both commented and emailed us asking for a hard-copy book version of our story. Well, wait no longer. My friend, Rich, was kind enough to suggest Lulu.com, a self-publishing website through which I was able to create a book version of the blog in less than two hours. It was pretty amazing and super easy. The book details our struggle from the day when Bryan shared with me that he knew something was wrong ("Christie, I'm Sick) to our very last day of radiation ("Graduation Day"). By no means does the book replace the blog; it's just a wider distribution channel for getting our story out and hopefully inspiring a few more people.
So, for those of you that have wanted to share our story with people who aren't as computer-inclined, or who simply prefer to feel the "flip" of the page while reading, we finally have an answer. You can buy our book here for $32.10. Please note that Bryan and I get absolutely no profit from each book sold, so this isn't about donations for Bryan's Brain Tumor Fund. This is more than that. This is about helping others gather strength and inspiration, whether it's an individual fighting their own medical battle or simply a "regular" person looking for a new persective on life. Like we've said all along, we know our experience isn't easy to read (or live through!) sometimes, but it really, truly helps Bryan and me continue our fight by knowing that we're able to inspire and help others along the way. And from the thousands of you that have contacted us thus far, we know that this is much bigger than simply the two of us.
So if you're interested in the book version, by all means, we'd be honored if you'd consider buying it. Consider it a 93-page "Chapter #1" of our story. And, God willing, we'll have many, many more chapters to write!
