Bryan's Brain Tumor Fund & P.O. Box
Okay, okay, okay...we HEAR you!!! Sometimes it takes us a while to stop being stubborn. :)
In the thousands of emails we've gotten over the past week from ALL over the world – New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Canada, England, and every single state in the U.S. – so many of you have asked how you can help. To be more specific, we've been inundated with requests to set up a fund. Now, you have to understand that we truly debated what to do. Having twenty of our friends get-together to put together a few bucks for us was more than we could ask for. But never, in a million years, would we have considered setting up a fund to collect other contributions. Granted, we also never expected the incredible response we've gotten to Bryan's diagnosis and our story in general. You made the decision for us. We woke up every day this week to an incredible onslaught of emails. It's become our morning ritual before radiation, you know, sitting together and reading every single email that comes through our in-boxes. We are beyond touched and beyond grateful for every single story, well wish and "go kick some cancer ass" inspiration you share with is. You lift our spirits on an hourly basis and when we have the tough moments (e.g. losing the diamond or worsening symptoms), it's your emails that are there to buoy us. So now, (and this is literally by popular demand), if you want to buoy us in other ways, you can do so here. If there are any issues with the link, go to PayPal and look for the donation link listed under "aninconvenienttumor@gmail.com." Your love and support is extraordinary and we honestly don't know what to say. I really, really, really want to put a disclaimer that says something like "by no means should you feel like you HAVE to contribute or send anything." But I won't. Instead I'll blame you: This was your idea and you made us promise not to feel guilty. There, we feel way less awkward now (that's a lie). We've also set up a P.O. Box, as so many of you want to know where
to send cards, etc. P.O. Box 352351
Los Angeles, CA 90035 Whether you send something, don't send something, whatever, we just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU from both of us. If we could hug you, we would. And trust me, if the hug is anything like the "practically-molestation-hug" I gave to Leyla, our diamond-finder, you'd feel a little uncomfortable afterward. But in a good way.
