Bad Religion Added To Fundraiser Line-up!

Well, Adam Carolla and the planners of this fundraiser have done it again...

BAD RELIGION have signed on to close the show. So if you've missed the announcements, we've got a comedy line-up of Adam Carolla, Jimmy Kimmel, Greg Fitzsimmons, Dana Gould, Larry Miller and a musical line-up of The Dan Band and Bad Religion. Adam & Dr. Drew will be hosting the event and may even do a live rendition of Loveline.

Should be an awesome night all around and we just can't believe the way this has come together. Hope to see you all there!

Hey Christi

My wife and I are so keen to attend the show, however being from Winnipeg Canada that is almost impossible. We'd have to buy two $500 plane tickets, at least one night in a hotel $200, plus the tickets $200 and incidentals, $200. Not to mention take a day, maybe two off of work. $600.

That's a ton of dough, most of which isn't going to you guys.

Had a thought (I'm sure it's already been discussed, but thought I'd inquire anyway)....

Given our situation, the best case senario would be if the show, or at least the spoken component of it could be recorded and sold. And, given how expensive it would be to come in from out of town, I'd happily pay/donate $200 for a DVD of the event. Really, even more now that I think about it.

If this isn't possible, we may still try to come down. But I thought this would be ideal as it kinda "expands" the capacity of the venue without having to find more room.

Jody Spriggs has a great idea --- can't make it in person, but I'd love to be able to see the show and contribute to BB's fund at the same time. I'd pre-order as soon as it's possible.

Just bought our tickets for the show! My husband and I are driving down from Reno and figured this would be an awesome way to spend my birthday! I've been listening for years and am excited to give something back. See you there :)

Hi all! Bryan and I aren't involved in the specific details of the fundraiser as it relates to the possibility of audio-taping the show. Bryan and I definitely agree that it would be amazing to tape it and offer it as a podcast option for those unable to attend the event itself. So stay tuned and I'll see what I can find out. Thanks to everyone for your support and interest in the event!!!

Hey Christie my husband got us tickets to the fundraiser for my birthday and I am super excited to go and support Bryan who has brought so much laughter through the show and podcasts! I just have one question, what are people supposed to wear?

Hi Kat, Thanks so much for the comment. I'd say that the "dress" will vary from pretty casual to some dresses for ladies and khakis/button-down shirts for men. Overall, I'd say wear whatever you feel comfortable and good in! Look forward to seeing you and your husband on Friday!

Hi Kat! Thanks so much for the comment. Most of our guy friends are wearing jeans and button down shirts, whereas the girls are wearing cute jeans/tops/heels or some sort of cocktail dress. It's by no means formal, but it's not completely casual either. Hope that helps and we look forward to seeing you both on Friday!
